Prevent Manual entry in a column for barcode scanning

Hi,
Is it possible to prevent manual entry in a selected column and use the same column for bar code scanning?
 

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Sort by date Sort by votes

On both of your threads/posts, I have clicked on the Report button, but, none of the Administrator's have corrected the problem.
