Print and store autogenerated number for a form

Hi there,

Need help, I have created sort of a form with Excel. Need to print this out as a blank form with a autogenerated number and store it on the output in a specified field, and it needs to avoid duplicated numbers. If cannot be done in Excel can this be done in Access?

Here is some basic code that could be attached to a button on the sheet :-

    '- increase number in cell A1
    ActiveSheet.Range("A1").Value = ActiveSheet.Range("A1").Value + 1
    '- print sheet
    ActiveSheet.PrintOut
    '- save workbook with new number
    ActiveWorkbook.Save
End Sub
