Hi team,

so I switched from Office 2016 straight to Office 365, used it for a few days and went back to Office 2016.

Now a few VBA macros are not working for me, but they still work on my colleagues computers who are still using Office 2016.

Could this be caused by the cache?

Any idea how to solve this problem so I can run those macros on my computer with Office 2016 as I used to?

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
In your VB window go to Tools | References and compare your settings to your colleagues.

Yes, errors like it can't find the path etc, but it finds the path on my colleagues' computers without any problems.

I think the problem might be with accented characters like: à, è, ì, ò, ù, À, È, Ì, Ç, Ù because they don't display correctly in my VBA window.

Is there any way to display these characters correctly on my VBA window?

I have never changed that setting, but I would guess that is related to what default language/keyboard you have set in Windows.

A problem was found in this setting (Region tab).

Specifically under Current language for non-Unicode programs which was set to foreign language (English).
