Hi Everyone,

I am really stuck how to do this, but am hoping it will be a great learning experience. I look forward to taking the solution here and using it to expand.... :)

I have a big spreadsheet, A1 - AL of headers

The file is about 900 lines long.
The data I need to pull is just the headers, this data is headers then invoices. The header and data are separated by the word Delivery in a field.

See example attached. I would need the bold pulled, nothing else. (if you could add a comment to this part for me i would appreciate)

delivery po name
3827382 2323 Joe
delivery po name
2222 22288 fred
2222 22288 fred

Just as an example. I need to pull the A2 Line, but only fields A B and C, into a new spreadsheet, going to the same cells (but would like to be able to re-arrange at a later date)

There could then be 100 lines or data, then in the A column the word "Delivery", meaning a new file.
So let's say that is on A102, I would then want to pull A103 A and C fields, into a new sheet, same columns, and then keep this going until the end of the file.

sorry, so to sum:

Need to pull the first line if data, using the word in A column Delivery as the marker that a new set of data is coming, pull the line after that, and then look for the next word Delivery, and repeat.

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
