Quick Access Toolbar green circles !

Hi guys,
How do I assign an icon to a command that does not have an built-in icon ? Excel always uses the green circle and the option to Modify is grey out. I'm using excel 2010.

I think you can do this in the ribbon editor. Create your macro and assign it. Then update the icon in the ribbon editor.

what you're saying is I need to recreate the action of the command via macro, and then assign an icon to that macro ? Is there a way to assign the preexisting command available in the quick access toolbar to an icon because that command doesn't have a built in icon ?
