Recalculation of Polynomial Distribution

Hi,

I have a file that I created to calculate a distribution based on time (periods) and total value to create a distribution curve.
This is to be used as a forecast/estimate on a project.
Output looks like the below.

Now that I have my estimated amounts, I want to be able to apply actual data against these amounts.
When the actual amounts are applied I want the distribution to be recalculated to reflect these changes.
I have tried to calculate a simple change between the estimated and actual , but it doesnt work correctly because if the actual amount if greater than the next period estimated, then
it spikes the graph and leave a dip until it catches back up a few periods later. I want it to be able to recalculate and change the shape of the curve is necessary, but keep the constraints of Periods (30) and total amount (2014), used in this example.

Any Ideas?

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
