Report displaying differently for different users

Hi,
I have an access database I created that is used by about 8 different people. There is a form containing 2 buttons: 1) run report for viewing on screen, and 2) save and disbribute the report. When either button is pressed, a macro runs a bunch of queries, creates a temporary table, and generates a report from the table. The 2nd button does this, but also prompts the user to save a PDF version of the report to the network and email the PDF.

When I run the report (button 1) on my computer, the report looks great - all the formatting is perfect, etc. Same when I save and distribute the report (button 2). The report is fine.

But some of my users (I haven't heard back from all of them, so maybe all of my users) have an issue when they click either button - the dates in the report show up as ####. I don't understand why the date fields are large enough on my screen, but not on theirs?
The report is formatting this way in both the on-screen view and also in the PDF that is saved and emailed.

Can someone please help? I thought perhaps it has something to do with my screen resolution vs. theirs, but from my online searches, it appears that really only affects forms. But,if that were the case, wouldn't the PDF be formatted accurately, even if the on-screen version was funky?

Thanks for your assistance! I'm banging my head here!!

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
I think it might have something to do with screen resolutions. I have come across this happening to several reports that I generated, and looked great on my computer, but then when the report was run on someone elses, they get that #### where information wouldn't display because it didn't fit.

A simple adjustment of the field in the report corrected this issue. I am fairly sure that this can be fixed by adjusting the field size in the report.

As far as this happening in the PDF, I am not 100% sure about saving to a PDF, but I know that if you are PRINTING to a PDF, it most likely will match what is on the screen. It may be possible that both printing and saving to a PDF act the same and again, adjusting the field size shoudl take care of this.

Well, despite the fact that I had tried once to widen the fields (and it worked on my screen, but not on other users'), I tried this again, widening them even more. It did solve the problem. Must have been a resolution issue, then?

Thanks for the reply - I was assuming it was a more difficult issue than that!

Glad it was simple and worked!

It's always best to test everything on a couple different screen resolutions just to see if it will look alright for everyone.
