A B C

Error Code Doc 1 Doc 2
C010
C011 e
C012

The question I have is if columns B through K = "e" (meaning that document has an error) I want the value of the Doc # and the error code to be returned on a separate sheet.

Any help would be appreciated.

<colgroup><col><col><col span="4"></colgroup><tbody>
</tbody>

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
Will there be more than 1 error per row?
maybe add a helper column to text for "e", give that a unique ID and pull that using INDEX/MATCH?
for instance, in L2...
=if(countif(B2:K2,"e")>1,L1+1,L1)
copied down
Then to pull those code...
=index(sheet1!A:A,match(rows($A$1:A1),sheet1!L:L,0))
copied down
