Round to nearest whole number and paste resulting value

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
I have a list of numbers (cubic densities) in column AV that I got using a formula, meaning they are like 10+ decimal points long.

Whatever your formula is that returns the number, wrap it in the round function..

=ROUND(yourformula,0)

Hope that helps.

You can use the "Precision as Displayed" Excel option so that it will round the numbers off to however they are formatted.

If you cannot find that, let us know what version of Excel you are using (it is in different places on different versions).

Note if your values are the result of calculations done on the spreadsheet, you could use the ROUND function in your calculations (though Search and Replace won't work with that).
