Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Are you specifically trying to do it using M Code ?
This is simple to do using the interface.
eg
Transform > Replace Values
" Cr" with "-" without the quotes
" Dr" with "" without the quotes
Change the datatype to a numeric data type.

You could also use Split and then a conditional column to multiply by 1 or -1
