i am trying to find a value in an array based on partial input from a user.

The user will enter the last four digits of a number.

then the fomula should find the number in a list and return that complete number

i will explain using example.

here is the list of numbers (array):
3003280197
3003283233
3003625456

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
Welcome to the board.

Try this array formula, entered with CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER

=VLOOKUP("*"&A1,F1:F3&"",1,0)

A1 = 3233

F1:F3 = the full list of numbers.
