Hi,

i am trying to find a value in an array based on partial input from a user.

The user will enter the last four digits of a number.

then the fomula should find the number in a list and return that complete number

i will explain using example.

here is the list of numbers (array):
3003280197
3003283233
3003625456

user input=
3233

formula output = 3003283233

<TBODY>
</TBODY><COLGROUP><COL></COLGROUP>

Try this array formula, entered with CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER

=VLOOKUP("*"&A1,F1:F3&"",1,0)

A1 = 3233

F1:F3 = the full list of numbers.
