Search Macro to leave the 'Find' window open

Hi,

I must admit I'm not perfect at macro's, I've managed to get my spreadsheet to work the way I want it, but I now want to add a very simple search.

Unfortunately with the way some of my other macro's work it automatically checks the Find option 'Match entire cell contents' which my users do not know to automatically switch off.

I've created the macro so that it performs one simple search on a specific column to uncheck this option, however I'd like for the 'Find' dialogue box that excel already has to remain open for users to enter what they would like to search for and find.

Its really something incredibly simple I'm sure, but I can't figure it out!!

Is there a way that at the end of a macro is leaves the 'Find' search dialogue window open on the screen for users which they hit my 'search' macro?

. . . . . .

Either that or is there a way to have a search macro pick of the word the user wishes to search for picked up from a cell by the macro and the searched for?

. . . . . .

I could spend a day of my time learning to create a dialogue window to accept a users search word but it seams redundant to do that when Excel already has a great 'Find' option!

Thanks from a *blushing* excel user.
