I have a 723 KB MicroSoft Word file containing
only a Table of four columns and about
23000 rows on 455 pages.
I wanted to sort on column four but MSWORD said
that the table was too big for MSWORD.
I now have it in Excel?
I was able to sort by one column in Excel.
Word has the feature “sort by column #”, then
followed by “sort by different column #”.
I don’t seethat in Excel.
Can I somehowdo that kind of sort in Excel?
I have windows 10 and Word and Excel 2016.

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
Select your range then go to:
DATA on ribbon
then SORT and you will see the option to sort by different columns.

I see the option to sort on a single column, and I have done that.
But I don't see option to sort on 2 or 3 columns like Word does.

Under DATA you will see SORT which is next to the AZ with the down arrow. So press on the word SORT. You will then see an option at the top of the box to add level.

You can also get to this box by selecting the range then hold down the ALT key and press D then S (ALT-D-S).
