Hi

I want to autosum (including recalculation of deletions of cell values) certain cells in a col which are colored eg red or yellow. How do i write the code to sum the values say of just the yellow cells. So far i have got =SUMIF(D5:D10,Cells.Interior.ColorIndex = 6,D5:D10)

The color of the cell relates to a type of activity and the value of the cells is the hours used in that activity. Maybe SUMIF is wrong

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
TY - looks pretty straightforward when someone shows you. I've part-tested and it looks as tho its what I need
