My data set looks like this:

Column A Column B
Date Total
03/15 62
03/16 80
06/15 100
06/17 94
09/15 81
12/15 23
12/16 68
12/17 96

If I am trying to find the annual total for 2015, what would be my formula given I have monthly totals? Thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Forgot to mention I only posted an abridged version of my data set, so just the SUM function won't work. I am thinking it is more of a SUMIFS or SUMPRODUCT potentially but not sure.
