might not be the most effective way to do it, but I think it might be the simplest if I can get it to work? Currently I have sheets within a workbook with tabs labeled (1), (2), (3), etc. etc. Each tab is formatted the same. Then I want a summary page to draw from cells within each tab.

Simple formula would be ='(1)'!E13.

I've set up a column that has the the sequential numbers in the format as the reference ie. '(1)'!, '(2)'!, etc.

Is there a way to reference the cell containing the text on the summary page, to effectively pull the info from the cell on the referenced tab?

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Thank you! I'm an idiot... I've used it numbers of time but have been out of the excel game for a while.
No worries! We have all been there.
Glad I was able to help!:)
