Hi All,
I have the following formula that i wanted to total up where items in Col E match items in Col F and give me back a total.

=SUMPRODUCT(--('Pending Prod Orders'!E:E='Pending Prod Orders'!F:F))

For some reason its counting all the blank cells that are contained in these columns which isnt what i need.

Could someone advise at all please?

Regards

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
try

=SUMPRODUCT(--('Pending Prod Orders'!E:E='Pending Prod Orders'!F:F),'Pending Prod Orders'!E:E)

note, should use the correct range rather than the whole column, e.g.

=SUMPRODUCT(--('Pending Prod Orders'!E1:E10000='Pending Prod Orders'!F1:F10000),'Pending Prod Orders'!E1:E10000)
