Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
It is not necessary to be copying and pasting so much.
If you are copying the whole range and transposing it, then you can copy and paste special "Transpose"...(Well, at least in Excel you can)

I don't know if I follow you all of the way, but perhaps this is what you are wanting;

In cell: I6 put this formula and copy it down:

=SUMIF($A:$A,K6,$C:$C)

Then in cell: J6 put this formula and copy it down:

=SUMIF($A:$A,K6,$D:$D)
