Two questions:-

1. Is it possible to extract the filename from a formula and if so how? I have a formula which is linked to another workbook and need to show the workbook name in another cell.

2. Or alternatively can the formula be shown as text in another cell?

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
