I our model we have a measure for accumulate actual amount, which works fine. Looks like this:
Actual acc SEK:=IF(COUNTROWS(LogFile_2_tblBookkeeping)>0;CALCULATE([Actual SEK];FILTER(ALL('Date'[Date]);'Date'[Date]<=MAX(('Date'[Date]))));BLANK())

The measure Actual SEK, which is used in above formula, looks like this:
Actual SEK:=CALCULATE(sum([dABookkeepingAmount]);LogFile_2_tblBookkeeping[sBookkeepingSource]="SIE";LogFile_2_tblBookkeeping[datBookkeepingDate]<DISTINCT(Period[Current period]))

The value in the table/column Period[Current period] in formula above, is the current month-end date (selected by the user).

Data per month; Jan 100; Feb 150; Mar 170; Apr 200

If month-end date is set to 31st of March the measure shows 420 (which is correct because April and forward should be Forecast figures).
The problem is when showing this in a chart April and forward will also show 420. We would like April and forward to show "nothing".

Any suggestions?

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Looks like you might have left off a meaningful date filter criteria at the end of the formula for Actual_SEK.
