Hey all,

I've created a VBA which at the end creates about 30-50 files which I wish to password protect. Easy enough, but what I want to do is be able to have the current month as part of the password automatically. So for example today the password will be PasswordJanuary or Password01 and next month it'll be PasswordFeburary or Password02.

This that possible?

If not maybe it creates the password from a cell and I manually change the password in that cell?

Thanks for any help

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
This should work
Code:
Dim mymonth As String
mymonth = Format(Month(Date), "00")

Sheets("Sheet6").Protect "password" & mymonth
