Hi,
I've created a macro that applies filter criteria to two Excel data tables on the same sheet. In the row immediately following each of the data tables, there is a row which contains Subtotal functions. The subtotal row (below the data table) is formatted with a double-line border along the top of the cells all the way across and beyond the data table.
The macro's filtering works fine on both tables, but a double-lined border (similar to that on the subtotal row at the bottom of the list) will sometimes show up on rows in the middle of the list as well. Once it shows up, it doesn't go away unless I (1) insert a row below, then delete that new row or (2) resize the data table's range (such as extending it out a column). All efforts to use normal Border formatting options do not work. Applying a different border or using Erase Border has no effect.
Any suggestions as to what is causing the persistent phantom borders and how to get rid of them using VBA or otherwise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
