Is it possible to change the font for a validation list, specifically to change the colour of characters 11 and upwards for the names that appear in the drop down list?

I've tried changing the source list cells but it doesn't change what appears in the drop down list.

Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.

If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
Short answer - no.

There might be some sort of workaround available but I'm not sure that would work for what you want.

It sounds like you want to format the items separately, and that just isn't possible with data validation or a combobox.:)

Hi Norie,

Thanks for your reply. I'd read elsewhere that it wasn't possible, but you never know so I thought it was worth asking the question here.
