Hi,

I am new to MrExcel with no knowledge of Vba... I need help to save a range containing formulas as values if a date is less than today please. I have not been able to find any vba coding in my searches and apparently the above is not possible without the use of vba.

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate with Excel 2010.

The Range is B4:L34
Column B contains dates in "1-Jan-19" format
D1 is "=TODAY()" same format as above
C4:L34 contains formulas that needs to be saved as Values if the date in B4:B34 is less than D1 (at 23:59 Daily)

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
So if the date in B4 is less than today copy and paste as values C4:L4, if the date in B5 is less than today copy and paste as values C5:L5 and so on?

Hi Thanks for responding!

You are correct. Dates before today must be saved as values. Today and future dates must not be saved as values will change on daily basis.

PS - the vba can run whenever the file is opened.
