Got the easiest spreadsheet and really frustrated to why my Lookup function won't work or Index/Match combination.

Key column are A and K
- want to find minimum value in column K and the corresponding value in column A
- Table array from A9 to K10000
- Make separate cell for Minimum value of K first

email me for microscoft file

Very basic but for some reason my spreadsheet keeps saying N/A

Re: Vlookup/Index+match help

hamza1989, Good morning.

Sorry, it's not possible solve questions using e-mail messages.
To post attachments, save your file at a free site, www.sendspace.com , and put a link to download here.

About your question, try to use:

=INDEX(A9:A10000, MIN(K9:K10000))

Is that what you're looking for?
I hope it helps.

Re: Vlookup/Index+match help

Maybe something like this:

Code:
=INDEX(A$9:A$10000,MATCH(MIN(K$9:K$10000),K$9:K$10000,0))
