Having strange Excel issue.
Open Excel and choose a standard workbook.
Right click the mouse and there is no menu available.
Open an existing workbook and there might be a right click menu or not.
There does not seem to be a pattern.

I can easily enable the menu with a Commandbars routine, but it's very annoying !

What is going on, please ?

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
.
Perhaps a Win Upgrade caused a corruption ?

Can you reload Excel ?

Hi JK and Logit,

If I right click with the mouse on a sheet tab I get no options, nothing - so I cannot rename or delete a sheet (for example).
As for addins - as far as I know, no addin is being loaded when Excel opens.

The odd thing is that this is not consistent across all workbooks.

Hallo, have you or someone else "played" with the ribbon? It is possible to de-activate right mouse-button in this way. regards

When you say no Options ? is that no right click menu at all or is it just the menus for deleting , renaming etc sheets that are greyed out ie disbaled ?

No menu options at all.
And I meant that none of my addins are loaded.
