Hi,
I was wondering if there exists any pre-defined function in Excel VBA that can take in 3 letter currency abbreviation string e.g. USD, EUR, AUD etc and apply the correct currency format to the cell in question.

I should be able to change the input to any of the existing currency abbreviations that exists in Excel and function should apply the required format accordingly.

Thanks.

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
assuming A1 is USD 500 etc find USD and replace with $ may be enough - have you tried this ?
