Add cell address as criteria in countif function

When I try to get this formula to work, get an error message and I know it's the last part that is causing me issues, specifically the part with the address cell to refer to the criteria

ActiveCell.Formula = "=COUNTIF(D" & FirstRow & ":D" & LastRow & ";N1)"

Note this formula is in cell N4.

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
FirstRow and LastRow are both variables to find the first and last row of a table, and with that, count how many cells in D that have what's in N1 ... and it works ... was only the semicolon that was my issue. Thanks for the help
