Mail Merge. Does is matter if the db is vertical or horizontal?

Hi all,

I have a long vertical list of companies with their addresses, phone numbers, names of directors, etc. ALL of it fits into one column. Let's say, Column B.

My ultimate goal is to make a mail merge. BUT I am spending an extraordinary amount of time transposing EACH company's info into IT'S OWN horizontal line so it will fit into column headings and therefore make it easy to do a mail-merge. Let's say: C - Z.

I'm imagining I can keep all the information in Column B, move the column headings from C - Z and transpose them into column B, and then do a mail merge from there.

Possible?

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
I'll go out on a limb and say not possible.
