I would like to be able to format K6 with a fill of red if G6 has text selected from a drop down AND K6 is empty. If G6 is empty id like the K6 to be left alone.

i tried

=AND(G6="*",K6="")

in the conditional formatting section but it is not working.

Excel Facts

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
Try:
Code:
[COLOR=#333333]=AND(G6<>"",K6="")[/COLOR]
