Hi,

Following on from Eric W's help in a thread just now I am struggling list out 1 entry only from a list of data

I am trying to work out a formula to return every entry but only once (there may be multiple entries of the same references based on other detail)

So C10 needs to search D12:D100 and G10 needs to search H12:H100 and return from D12:D100 only one entry despite multiple entries of other data

Column D has a book reference
Column H has a article reference

Many thanks for any help (Again)

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
Your thread had had nearly 50 views and no replies so I suspect nobody is quite sure from the worded description. What a bout a small set of dummy data and the expected results to clarify. That would likely get a favourable response in fairly short time.
