adding data markers to a bar chart

Posted by Joe on October 12, 2001 6:00 AM
Hi there, I have a 3d bar chart I am working on and need to add a small arrow or marker that is linked to the spreadsheet, and indicates the optimum level that data should be at. ie. if the value in the spreadsheet is changed, then the chart will also change. I can put in markers using Wordart, but cant link them to the spreadsheet.
If you can help, then thanks very much indeed!
Joe.

Sounds like that you want to attach a macro to the picture object? If you want to send me a copy of the workbook and what you are trying to do, I can see if I can make it work.
