How to convert excel chart into a Jpeg or Gif or BMPPosted by Abid on June 21, 2001 4:07 AM
I want to convert a chart in excel sheet into any grpahic format. (BMP, JPEG, GIF are preferred). Can some one tell me how I can accomplish this task. I've checked the saveas method of ActiveChart but it save to none of the graphics format.

What I usually do is take a screen shot by pressing the PrintScrn button, and then paste the screen shot into an image editor, like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop. If you don't have either of those, you could use Windows Paint.
Once you have the screen capture in your editor, crop the image to your chart, then save it in whatever format you want.
There is an Excel Add-in that let's you export charts as .gifs. Check Mr. Excel or Aaron Blood's site (can't remember the address) for it.
