Chart with Quarterly Gridlines
Posted by Doug on February 15, 2002 6:54 PM
How can I make the gridlines on my chart show at a monthly, quarterly or annual interval, rather than being spaced a fixed number of days apart? For example, I need them to all be the 1st of each month, quarter, or year, regardless of variations in the number of days in the months, quarters or years.

Try using the Time-scale option under the Chart Options, Axes tab. Then go into the Format Axis, Scale tab and configure the Major Unit to Day(s)or month(s).
