Date Calculation for day value without year

I am trying to convert a date to the correct year. I have a gauge monitor which reads the current date as the day of the year (ie, 114 for April 24). However, when I tell Excel to convert this to date format (1/1 date format), it reads it as April 23 (it shows that the date is from 1900, being a leap year).

How do I get Excel to recognize this date as current year?
