same formula for multiple tuples

Hi,

I have a formula in conditional formatting that I need to use in every row of the spreadsheet. I've tride highling all the rows in the column that I need the formula to work & I get some wonky results.

The formula is this... =AND($V5>=0.01,TODAY-$L5>=42)

So I was know excel is smart enough to take the values $V5 & $L5 transpose them to each row that follows.. $V6 $L6, $V7 $L7... $V100 $L100, but I just can't get it to work.

When I check the formula for individal cells the values $L5 & $V5 have different values like $L16455 $V16455. I don't know where these values come from but I can change them to the corresponding row manually & the formual works.

But I have a lot of rows in this spreadsheet & it's not something I want to do manually.

Any ideas?

thanx,
naph

Enter your conditional formatting on row 5 using
=AND($V5>=0.01,TODAY-$L5>=42). Copy this row
and perform a Copy | Paste Special... Formats on
the remaining rows of your worksheet.
