Forwarding Entries to another Worksheet

I want to enter multiple variable criteria (M3*, J9 etc.) into a cell which will cause information in the previous 3 cells to be forwarded automatically to another worksheet. Is there a formula for this? Example:

A1 = Doe, B1 = John, C1 = English, D1 = J9

I want cell range A1:D1 to be forwarded to another worksheet. J9 could appear numerous times as could other specified variables. Suggestions?

I think it can be done, but can you be more specific? The "(M3*, J9 etc.)" is throwing me off. And where are you entering this multiple criteria?

Cory, Thanks for your response. If the "(M3* or J9)" is entered in D1, I want that to be cause to forward A1:D1 to a new location on another worksheet. A list would compile from there of all M3*s and J9s. I hope my terminology and intent is comprehensive.

One more thing and I think I can help you:

Are M3* and J9 cell references or are they just identifying text (Id #s or part numbers, say)

I'm thinking you can autofiler them by type and copy/paste them to the other sheet, but I'm not sure if that's right...

They are identifying text, not cell references. They are codes actually. I appreciate your assistance.....Mark
