i am new to excel but i try
so can someone please tell me the formurla for percentage

If your number is in A2, use =A2/100 to calculate its percentage of 100. If you want to format the result as a percentage, click on the % sign on the toolbar, or select the cell, right-click, select Format Cells, and on the Numbers tab select Percentage under Category.
