List box / combo box?

This is probably so easy for you guys, but I don't understand: I have a list of Account numbers and their Descriptions in cells AA and AB. In each cell of column D, i want to be able to pick from a list of the Descriptions, and have Excel return the corresponding account number in the cell next to it. Any help with this? Thanks.

sounds like a perfect application of the =vlookup() function. look in the Help section.
