Subtotal - More than one function?

Is there a way to do more than one subtotal function at once? For example, I have a large spreadsheet that I am subtotaling. Some of the columns I would like to sum, others I would like an average or count. Is there a way to do this all at once? The only shortcut I found is to do one function (i.e. sum) and then do an edit replace in the columns I want to average. Please help!

Elizabeth,

Couple of questions....how often does your data change (meaning do you update daily, mothly...)? Will the function you want to perform always be the same function performed in that column?

Thanks for your responses. It changes all the time. We run data off our system as needed and drop it down into Excel so we can work with it. The worksheets are not always the same size or have the same number of coumns, etc.
