How do I delete a link?

Hello:

My spreadsheet has a link to a file that no longer exists, and I can't even find reference to it in any cells, but the spreadsheet still looks for it. How can I delete that link?

send me your email & I'll send you a workbook which finds/deletes phantom links.

Also, for anyone else who runs into this problem, see "Breaking a Link" by Susan posted 11/09/01; this refers you to a page by Microsoft to add in the Delete Links Wizard to your Excel.
