Help with cross linking word docs to my excel sheet

Hi there,
i have a excel sheet and i cut and paste the info on it to a word doc,
i need to know how to like the word doc so i can open the work doc up and it checks the excel sheet then places the right info from the sheet into the word doc.
can anyone please help,
ive had book after book from the library to no avail.

In your word doc select Edit / Paste special
Then select Microsoft excel worksheet
and select the option button Paste as link.
This should liink the file up so that any
changes will be updated.
