Curious problem of 97 vs 2000
Posted by lenze on December 28, 2000 10:03 AM
We have a very large spreadsheet, created in Excel 97 with many formulas. When we open it using Excel 2000, most of the formulas return a #VALUE Error. If, however, we open it with Excel 97, the formulas work fine. Any Ideas?

Lenze,
Without more info, the only thing I can guess is that your formulas use functions that are available only when the Analysis ToolPak add-in is installed. Check under Tools->Add-Ins and make sure the box is checked for the Analysis ToolPak.
