Converting time

Posted by Paul Johnson on December 21, 2001 6:57 AM
I have two columns of data.
col 1 11/01/2001 01:00:00 AM
col 2 11/01/2001 05:22:00 AM

I need to find the difference (4:22:00) as a number to be used in a pivot table. When I convert the [h]:mm:ss formatted data to the pivot table it carries the AM/PM desginator. How do I fix this ?

Thx

PJ

If you go into the pivot table wizard, and then doble click on the column header, you can format the column by selecting "number".
