Pivot table -

my data sheet has the column sorted in a specific order, when I transfer it to a pivot table it sorts the columns in alpha order. is there any way to have ti sort the way the data is inputed.

Create a custom sort order (see the Excel Help
topic for "Create a custom fill series or
sorting order") and your PivotTable will
use it! For example, suppose Field1 contains
{"dog";"cat";"bird";"mouse"}. After you've
defined this as a custom sort order, a PivotTable
containing Field1 with an Ascending AutoSort will
be sorted in {"dog";"cat";"bird";"mouse"} order.
