sorting by date in a pivot table

I have created a pivot table in which the 2nd and 3rd
columns are date fields. I would like all of the data
in the pivot table to sort by the date order of
column 2. Is there some trick?

:It's the event (meeting name) and the pivot table
is sorting alphabetically according to the text in
this column.

After using the Advanced Field option to turn on
AutoSort you'll need to make your date field
the 1st column; otherwise, you'll just sort dates
within each event.
