Auto-Refreshing Pivot-tables

I was wondering if someone could help me. The option, in the Pivot table says "refresh every ___ minutes" with a checkbox. However, it is greyed out and I can't select it. Help was no help and I didn't see the answer in the archives.

just guessing :

does :

right click on the pivot heading buttons
select
push in the "enable selection" button

does that make any difference ?
