Cell INTERIOR and FONT same color yet print NOT invisible text!

Posted by bill.roberts on March 29, 2000 11:17 AM
Getting back to GREENBAR,

I've set (VBA) both the INTERIOR and FONT color of a cell to index 35.

This I've confirmed outside of VBA.

Yet, PRINT and PRINT PREVIEW both display text in the cell.

I assumed the color selection should have created a "wash" effect yet it does not.

Any suggestions?

Bill

Bill
Is your printer set for color print??
Check to see that the Page setup/Sheet Black & white option button is not selected ??

Ivan,

Thank you for the reply.

The printer is a LaserJet (V) which not capable of color.

I DID check the page setup an selected by black and white and NOT black and white.

Both options caused text (even colored as background cell) to appear at print and print preview.

Thanks again though.
Bill
