Can't see print range I set
Posted by Barry Katcher on September 07, 2001 1:25 PM
I just opened an old Lotus file in Excel, re-did the macros and formatting where needed, and went to set a print range with "Print Area - Set Print Area." It prints O.K., but it doesn't show the dashed lines around the print area. I tried to set a page break by clicking on the row header and using "Insert - Page Break" and again, no page break. The print area shows in "Print Preview", but not the page break.
I inserted a new sheet, and was able to do all the above.
Possible corruption due to it originally being a Lotus spreadsheet?

Check your options. Page breaks can be toggled on and off on the View tab under Window Options. I suspect you have View Page Breaks de-selected.

I checked my options and the page break was on. I was able to drag a soft page break down and make it a hard page break, but I still don't see the outline around the print range in a normal view. Oh, well. It's an imperfect world.
